I don't know what dave may be learning, but if he is attending a "quality" institution, the program goes something like this:
Mondays - Raising the Dead, seminar Tuesdays - Healing lepers 101 Wednesdays - A.M. - How to confuse the religious elite; P.M. Ping Pong and Ice Cream Thursdays - Walking through walls / Parables that contain food Fridays - Doing "neat" tricks with Fish and Bread practicum.
Too bad my program wasn't that cool.... Today I mostly found out how many nights I am going to not spend time with my wife so that I can my assignments done... However one interesting thing I read about today was about Tertullian's involvement in a Charismatic group known as the Montanists. Other than that the day was kinda plain..

I left out the special winter Intensive on Walking on Water.

Actually many try to discredit Tertullian because of that.

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about forsaking your wife. Once you enter the clergy you'll have nothing but free time for your wife and playing golf.
